The S-boom telescopic booms by Genie have been outfitted with an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined places during construction and industrial applications. They are also recognized for their ability to rapidly maneuver through a job site with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and could stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide quick, easy positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks which were previously inaccessible by typical jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature allows up and over reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform has to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully raised simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing both effectiveness and production.
