Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their equipment have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and made to be able to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more accurate way. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being engineered and made all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
