Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family company in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, various types of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming equipments.
The company began crane production in 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
