The Taylor Machine Work's TX4 Series of lift trucks are 4WD and specifically made for one specific job: moving material in the most difficult and harshest setting you could imagine. A few of the terrain these machines work in includes: snow, mud or rough or uneven environments. The TX4 delivers unparalleled performance and has become the leading alternative for numerous industries.
Different than other similar articulated lift truck models, the TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment. Instead, it is an articulated material handler completely and specifically engineered and manufactured by Taylor Machine Works.
There are 3 different load capacities available. The TX4 articulated 4-wheel drive forklifts offer the ability to out-perform the front-end loader forklifts. Typically, to be able to attain the same capacity from a front-end loader or forklift, the front-end loader or forklift must be bigger than the 132 inch wheelbase which comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD forklifts are true rough terrain forklifts. They were made to have no deration in full turns. As well, this specific unit comes direct from the plant with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain forklifts are among the strongest and extremely robust and highly maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain forklifts offered for the wood products industry. The only USA producer who designs and makes rough terrain lift trucks with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Thus, they have become the leader in this specialized field in North America and have earned a solid reputation in this niche.
Each unit in the TXB Series line of forklifts utilizes a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge after-cooled or air to air diesel engine. Some of the basic engine features comprise electronic diagnostic maintenance and engine/transmission protection systems, reduced overall emissions, improved fuel economy and water/fuel separator.
The transmission used for the TXB Series consists of a 3-speed, modulated, fully reversing powershift transmission. This kind of transmission is also outfitted with a separate cooler for air-to-oil, inching ability and electric roll shift control.
Taylor has manufactured numerous equipments to deal with the most difficult settings. These machines can function at their optimum levels within some of the harshest applications. They are strong and reliable and built to last a long time and get the task done in a timely and effective way.
